Sadly, my dad, Anand Gulrajani, passed away recently.
As we, the family, tackle to come to terms with his loss, I put pen to paper, or should we say, clicked at the keyboard to write a little poetic piece.
This has been printed in the Gibraltar Chronicle and a version of it has also been published on a Scandinavian Mediterranean poetry site.
The link is as below.
Dad first moved to Gib in 1959 and adopted it as his home until his demise last month at the age of 84. He was 84 years young but sadly his health become an issue earlier this year and now resulted in his passing.
He will be missed but has left a legacy of 2 sons, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and counting as well as a family business in 🇬🇮 which is thriving.
Death is sad but it also unites a family that was already united but strengthened 9its shared grief and bereavement.
Your funeral and our collected contribution to the service was a great way to say goodbye... We will miss you dad.
God bless you and may you Rest In Peace 🙏
